Dakin Giant Teddy Bear Bruiser Vtg 1984 Elegante Plush 34"* Suede Paws Collectors Rare *29-30" tall in a seated position (head to rump) but is 34" when measuring the same distance as the bear is laying on its back. 31" wide (foot to foot) and about 20" wide (shoulder width) 25" depth, front to back (bottom of foot to the end of the tail) Please see all photos. This Dakin Elegante Bruiser Bear was on a tall shelf display in a specialty toy store in the 1980s and was not for sale (see photos for their handwritten tag jokingly stating the selling price of $20,000). The bear has been in storage for decades and is in excellent condition save for a small indentation area on its backside where it must have been leaning against something. There is no musty or old smell and it comes from a smoke-free home . The fur is soft and the bear filling is intact; it's firm but cuddly. Not noisy/"crunchy" like some lesser quality stuffed animals. Dakin stuffed animals are very well-made with quality materials.
